The real unmet need is a care giver support system

Ethan AI is the first non-intrusive, AI-powered behavior monitoring assistant that uses existing camera setup to detect, predict, and log distress behaviors

EASY TO USE - QUICK SET UP - NO NEW HARDWARE

We are building a vision intelligence platform for assistive care.

Founded by ASD parents. Built for every child and parent who deserves better support.

Some projects begin as ideas. Ethan AI, began as a need that grew from the  personal journey of Shilpa Pakki and Pratush Charan, parents to an autistic child, Ethan, who is non-verbal. And like many children who communicate differently, his behavior became the language that they had to learn. Recognizing early signals like anxiety, emotional overload, self-injury, or aggression has become essential for supporting his learning of life skills.

With experience spanning computer vision, video analysis, building SaaS platforms, adaptive learning, and assistive technology, they set out to create a vision-based system focused on recognizing behavioral patterns in neurodivergent children before they escalate.

Computer vision research in autism has largely emphasized early diagnosis. There remains a significant gap in systems that support real world living especially for non verbal individuals and for adolescents/adults where safety risks are more concerning. Daily care challenges involve high stakes events like wandering, self harm escalation, unsafe interactions. Addressing these challenges requires long term, personalized modeling that detects deviations from individual baselines, infers behavior transitions over time, and produce caregiver actionable alerts.
