Ethan AI began at home. Shilpa Pakki is the parent of a non verbal autistic child, Ethan, the boy the company is named for. Like many parents of neurodivergent children, she learned to read the small signs that arrive before distress, a shift in movement or posture that says a hard moment is close. She also knew that no parent can watch every second, and that most therapists and teachers are caring for several children at once.
Shilpa has spent her career across computer vision, video analysis, SaaS platforms, adaptive learning and assistive technology. She brought that work together to build a vision based system that recognises behavioural patterns in neurodivergent children and flags them before they escalate. What began as one parent’s need to understand her son became a platform that can give the same attention to hundreds of children.
She leads Ethan AI as its founder and public face, and holds the product to a plain test: would this help a child like Ethan, and the adults who care for him. Everything the team builds is measured against that question.
